M Sport bumper is required

This lip is designed exclusively around the M Sport front bumper profile. If your 3 Series does not have the M Sport package, the lower bumper shape and mounting points will not align. If you are unsure whether your car has the M Sport bumper, check for the larger lower air intakes and sportier front apron — standard base models have a simpler, narrower lower section.

Pre-LCI vs LCI — why it matters

BMW introduced the G20 LCI facelift in mid-2022 for the 2023 model year with an entirely new front end design. A lip made for the 2019–2022 pre-LCI bumper will not fit the revised 2023+ fascia. Always confirm your build date before ordering.
