Why this grille changes the front end entirely

The standard G80 M3 and G82 M4 ship with a large kidney surround filled with vertical slats or a mesh insert. The CSL design removes the inner content entirely, replacing it with an open, aggressive face that dramatically changes the front profile — wider looking, more purposeful, and immediately recognisable as something beyond the standard car.

Choose the right variant for your car

Without ACC — for cars without Adaptive Cruise Control. Full CSL-inspired open face across the entire grille. Direct bolt-on to OEM grille clip positions, no modifications required.

With ACC — for cars equipped with Active Cruise Control or BMW Driving Assistant Professional. The ACC version omits the lower slats to accommodate the radar laser technology housed in the factory front bumper on ACC-equipped vehicles. This is a deliberate design difference, not a defect. If your car has ACC and you order the non-ACC version, the lower section will obstruct the radar and affect your cruise control system. 

Not sure if you have ACC? Check your iDrive menu under Driver Assistance — if Active Cruise Control or Adaptive Cruise Control is listed, select the ACC variant.

Dry carbon fiber — what it means and why it matters

This grille is made from dry carbon fiber, not standard wet-layup carbon. Dry carbon construction produces an ultra-light and solid part with high durability, ultra-clear carbon weave, and gloss finishing.
